To allow us to communicate with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) on your behalf, you’ll need to authorize Smith Financial Service as your representative. This can be done easily through your CRA My Account or My Business Account using the RepID, GroupID, or Business Number we provide. Once authorized, we can access your tax information, manage filings, and deal directly with the CRA for you.

For your security, we ask that clients do not send personal or financial information by email. Instead, all sensitive documents should be uploaded through our secure TaxFolder portal.

2. Select “Review Document”
3. Manually enter the last 4 digits of your phone number (do not copy and paste or auto-populate requested details)
4. Enter the 6-digit verification code that was sent to your mobile device (If you didn’t receive code, Resend Code or contact G.D Smith Financial Services Inc)
5. Select “ View Document(s)”
6. Select “Next”
7. Select “ Sign Here”, draw signature with cursor or finger and select “Save”
8. Once signed, select “Send”
9. You’ll receive “Success! We’re preparing your completed copy for download. You can wait here or check your email later for a download link”.
10. Select “Original Copy”, “Completed Copy” or refer to your email to view your completed document
If you are having difficulty signing on a mobile device, turn your devices orientation to landscape or horizontal as this will help in locating the proper buttons etc.
